Prior to that, he performed with the Andean Symphony Orchestra and his high school’s brass ensemble. He studied trumpet and sound engineering at the Franz Liszt School and the National Conservatory of Quito, Ecuador. As part of Yarina, Ati plays the guitar, pallas, bass, and trumpet. He is also a vocalist.
